The 4MAT System provides a basis for understanding
core elements of learning and guidance in how to use these
elements to improve learning effectiveness.
4MAT instruction appeals to ALL types of learners:
Type One: Imaginative.
Feeling and watching. Key question: Why?
Type Two: Analytic. Listening,
thinking, seeking facts. Key question: What?
Type Three: Common Sense. Doing, building, creating.
Key question: How?
Type Four: Dynamic. Exploring, discovering,
trying. Key question: If?
Our instructional model trains students to
develop all four of these learning capacities, giving every
child the ability to excel in an environment that
nourishes its natural tendencies and expands their possibilities.
